Details

Salary - £12,228 per annum, plus shift allowance

The main purpose of the job includes ensuring that on-train environment, and other Northern accommodation, cleaning and servicing is carried out to acceptable business standards that meet the requirements of customers and other stakeholders.  

Main Responsibilities:  

Work to the instructions of the Train Presentation Leader.
Undertake any work as required, subject to competence, including light maintenance tasks on train units 
Cleaning of trains, removal of seat covers, shampooing of carpets, removal and refitting of diffusers, minor vehicle interior repairs
Change roller towels where fitted and exhausted and replenish toilets with soap and toilet tissue as required
Ensure on-train litter compartments are emptied and fresh bin liners fitted
Clear away all large on train litter and keep walkways tidy and platform litter bins clear, conveying all rubbish to waste skips
Adherence to working instructions and quality procedures
