Details
£269.95 per week for the first six months of employment rising to £287.66 per week after six months employment plus benefits.

We are looking for a Revenue Protection Assistant to join our Revenue Protection Team in the Leeds area. The responsibilities of this role include providing high levels of customer service and revenue protection at the Leeds area stations and also onboard Northern Rail services around the Northern Rail network.

Whether working at a station or onboard, you will assist other staff members in meeting the needs of our travelling customers particularly the elderly, disabled and those with special needs, ensuring the safety of customers, monitoring customers boarding trains, examining and issuing tickets as appropriate, dealing with travel irregularities and issuing excess fare tickets and unpaid fares notices as appropriate, performing cleaning duties as required, assisting as necessary during times of planned and unplanned service disruption and assisting in the development of ways to increase the effectiveness of the Revenue Protection Team.

Applicants must have proven customer service and cash handling experience and be able to pass our company Revenue Protection assessment. Having four GCSE’s at grade C or above, to include English and Maths is desirable. 

Due to the shift nature of this role, but depending on location of residence, having your own transport is essential. The successful applicant at the recruitment day must pass a medical and alcohol and drug screen and provide satisfactory work references for their previous two years employment before a job offer can be made.
